Sculptra is not a classic filler but a biostimulator: injecting poly-L-lactic acid activates the body’s own collagen production. The result is a lasting improvement in skin texture – step by step, completely naturally. The treatment aims at a natural and harmonious appearance.

Results

  • First effects are visible after a few weeks
  • The skin looks increasingly tighter, firmer and more youthful
  • According to the manufacturer, the effect lasts up to 2 years

Stimulates new collagen formation Long-term improvement in skin density and elasticity Subtle, gradual rejuvenation without a sudden “overfilled” effect Harmonious refresh of the whole face

Cheek and temple area with volume loss Wrinkles in the lower third of the face (e.g. marionette lines) Sagging skin in the chin and jawline area Neck & décolleté

Sculptra® is injected into the deep layers of the skin. There, the active ingredient stimulates new collagen formation over months. Duration: approx. 45 minutes. For optimal results, 2–4 sessions 4–8 weeks apart are usually recommended.

FAQ

Sculptra® does not work immediately like hyaluronic acid. New collagen formation takes time. First changes usually appear after a few weeks; the full effect develops gradually over several months.

As a rule, 2–3 treatments 4–8 weeks apart are recommended to build up stable new collagen. The exact plan depends on your skin condition and the desired result.

According to the manufacturer, the effect of Sculptra® can last up to two years or longer, as the skin structure is strengthened by newly formed collagen.

Hyaluronic acid restores volume immediately. Sculptra®, on the other hand, stimulates the skin to produce new collagen itself. The result develops gradually, looks very natural and lasts longer.

Slight swelling or bruising may occur after the treatment. In rare cases, small nodules can form. Precise injection technique and aftercare (e.g. massaging the treated area) can significantly minimise this risk.
