Fat-dissolving injections / lipolysis

Stubborn fat deposits often cannot be removed completely by diet or exercise. The lipolysis injection, colloquially also called the “Fettweg-Spritze” (fat-away injection), offers a way to gently reduce precisely these areas – without surgery.

Injection on the thigh

The injection activates fat metabolism in the treated area. The fat cells concerned are dissolved and then broken down naturally by the body.

After a detailed consultation and analysis of the treatment area, the injection is given with fine needles directly into the fatty tissue. Duration: approx. 20–40 minutes, depending on the area. Slight swelling, redness or tenderness is normal after the treatment and subsides over the following days.

Swelling directly after the treatment is normal and varies from person to person. It usually subsides after a few days. The final shape and fine definition show after approx. three weeks, once the tissue has fully healed.

FAQ

Usually 2–4 sessions a few weeks apart are needed to achieve an even and stable result. The number depends on the size and nature of the treated area.

That depends very much on the treated zone and the size of the fat deposit. For smaller areas such as the chin, 1 ampoule is often enough, while larger areas (e.g. abdomen or thighs) may need several ampoules. The exact amount is always determined individually.

The treated fat cells are broken down and usually do not return. However, the result only remains stable if your body weight also stays constant. If you gain weight, the remaining fat cells can grow larger – including in the previously treated areas.

The treatment is particularly suitable for smaller, stubborn fat deposits that hardly respond to diet or exercise – such as the chin, “jowls”, upper arms, abdomen, hips, inner thighs or knees.
